MARIKO is a maritime research, innovation, and development consortium.

The initiative unites Denmark’s maritime educational institutions, including MARTEC, SIMAC, Fredericia College of Marine and Technical Engineering, Teknika, Aarhus School of Marine and Technical Engineering, Svendborg Maritime Academy og Marstal Navigation School. Its purpose is to strengthen the green transition, digitalization, and technological innovation in the maritime sector through applied research and joint projects.

MARIKO supported by A/S D/S Orient’s Foundation, Den Danske Maritime Foundation, and the Lauritzen Foundation and is a joint operation between the maritime institutions under the Maritime Education Network (Maritime Uddannelser).
